Why Hotel Spiti Heritage?
Looking for a peaceful stay while your trip to Spiti? What could be better than The Spiti Heritage!
About Spiti Valley
Spiti refers to “The Middle Land”, i.e. the land between Tibet and India. Located high in the Himalayan mountains in the North-Eastern part of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, Spiti valley comes under the Lahaul & Spiti district having its sub-divisional headquarters at Kaza. Spiti is considered to be “Little Tibet” as of the similarities between landscape, vegetation and climate.
The main Spiti valley is split into eastern and western parts which are connected with Ladakh & Tibet on eastern side & Kinnaur and Kulu on western side through a number of tunnels and mountain passes.
How to Reach Spiti Valley?
Spiti valley is accessible via Kinnaur from Shimla which is 412 km long motorable road and remains open for about 8 to 9 months. It can be reached via Manali through Rohtang pass and Kunzum pass during the summer. Tourists from outside India must have to obtain inner line permits to enter Spiti valley through Kinnaur.
A relatively new hotel in New Kaza, the Spiti Heritage has a view to die for. Not much interrupts your view here, neither are you disturbed by the increasing chaos of Old Kaza. Instead, you find yourself left alone with the silence of Spiti and the pensive mountains. And at night, with the countless stars.
